I joined BPE in 2005 spending 6 years in the personal injury department working for both claimants and defendants. During this time I gained experience in claims involving stress and anxiety as well as experience in advising on prosecutions from the Health and Safety Executive.
Joining the Employment department in 2012 I transferred my personal injury skills to the employment law arena advising private sector clients, many with public sector contracts in areas such as discrimination, unfair dismissal and TUPE. I advise clients on day to day matters and have been instrumental in advising clients on the changing legal landscape involving holiday pay. My clients vary from national retailers to private sector manufacturers.
