Philip Radford is the Senior Litigation Partner at BPE Solicitors, with over forty years' experience in litigation of all types and nearly fifty years as a classic car enthusiast.

Philip advises on complex disputes, in particular professional negligence claims, disputed will claims and classic car disputes.

As an accredited mediator, Philip is experienced in resolving disputes quickly and effectively due to his ability to think outside the box.

Philip is a founding member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association. He qualified as a mediator with the ADR group in 2001.

Philip has consistently been named a leading individual in the Legal 500 rankings.

Philip’s interest in classic cars developed after he rebuilt two MG Midgets; the last one which he has owned for the last 34 years; and a Colorado Red Austin Healey Frog Eyed Sprite. He has owned and maintained an MGB Roadster, a Mk 1 BMW Series 3 Bauer convertible and a Triumph Stag. He has also owned the modern classic Mercedes E320 Cabrio and the outstandingly designed and beautiful Maserati Quatroporte.

He is currently rebuilding a pre-war two-seater Morris 8 cabriolet, as part of a chassis up rebuild, which he hopes to put on the road next year.

As a dedicated litigation lawyer and trained mediator, Philip has married his specialist knowledge of classic cars with his long-standing career as a litigator, advising both purchasers and dealers involved in classic car disputes.
