BPE Solicitors advises Weird Fish on UK retail premises expansion

The commercial property team at BPE Solicitors were delighted to recently complete the leases on five new retail premises for Weird Fish in Whitstable, St David’s, Aldeburgh, Southwold & Boscastle bringing the total number of shop premises for the lifestyle clothing and accessories retailer to 28.

Weird Fish was founded in 1993 with a simple mission: “to produce well priced, well made and distinctive clothes that become instant feel-good favourites” and they work with Green Story in order to discover the positive impact of their products on the environment.

Jon Goodwin, finance director of Weird Fish comments on the expansion ‘retail stores in destination locations are an important part of our offer to the public. We have seen an increase in customers wanting to shop on the high street‘.

Douglas Armstrong, Partner, and Stacey Woolmer, Solicitor advised Weird Fish on the new leases and Stacey adds ‘it is always a delight to work with the team at Weird Fish and to see the expansion of premises moving further across other counties and to work with a brand who have sustainability at the forefront of their mission’.
