BPE Solicitors acts for Lilian Faithfull on the acquisition of nine flats
The Commercial Property team at BPE Solicitors has again acted for long standing client, Lilian Faithfull, this time in the acquisition of a freehold and nine long leasehold titles at Treadwells Court, Evesham.
Acquiring the nine properties will allow Lilian Faithfull to expand from its home county into neighbouring Worcestershire and will underpin the charitable activity in Gloucestershire, allowing Lilian Faithfull to provide high quality care to their residents.
Head of Property Services, Jo Bewley, led the team throughout the acquisition, facilitating the purchase of these properties, and working closely with Martin Hughes, CEO of Lilian Faithfull.
BPE’s relationship with Lilian Faithfull goes back over seven years, with Jo and the firm becoming trusted legal advisers to the Gloucestershire based charity. BPE has advised Lilian Faithfull on a range of transactions including property purchases and funding, as well as acquisitions.
Jo commented “I am delighted to have worked with Martin and the team at Lilian Faithfull again, especially as this was an acquisition which introduced a new type of property into the portfolio”.
Martin Hughes, CEO of Lilian Faithfull, said “Jo and the team did an exceptional job in advising us on this transaction. It’s always a pleasure to deal with the team at BPE, they always provide commercial, timely advice which is why the firm become a business partner to me. As a charity, our aim is to provide a ‘home for life’, and this is part of our strategic plan to deliver our exceptional care further in the county”.
