Looking back on 2020: Corporate Team Success

This December we’re looking back at our 2020.

Our Corporate team has had a very successful year, a highlight being the team’s three nominations for Insider South West Dealmakers awards. Partner Adam Kean was shortlisted for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year following a very busy year advising clients on acquisitions, investments and management buyouts.

Building on this recognition, the team were also shortlisted for two significant deals. The first, for Small Deal of the Year, saw Dale Williams advise on a complex deal resulting in the sale of Warner’s Budgens to The Midcounties Cooperative.

The final shortlisting was for Deal of the Year. Adam led the transaction for the management team of Partners& Limited on a significant multi-million pound initial equity investment from US private equity firm Capital Z Partners.

To have been nominated for three awards was a great achievement for the team and reflects the strength and depth of experience we have at BPE.
