Intellectual Property specialist goes international

IP specialist, Riyaz Jariwalla, goes international and joins team of IP lawyers to host a global digital presentation across seven time zones.

Despite the global lockdown, Riyaz Jariwalla was able to join colleagues Stephen Anderson the USA, Martin Boden from Germany, Adriana Calvo from Costa Rica, Andrew Jones from Australia, Dacho Lee from Korea, Toby Mak from Hong Kong, Paulo Parente from Brazil and Saurabh Vaid from India to contribute to a webinar discussing IP and trade marks. As the only presenter from the UK, Riyaz spoke specifically about leveraging IP rights as a security in the UK.

The worldwide presentation reached over 10 countries as the presenters spoke to a wider group of international IP professionals.

By embracing technology, lawyers from around the world can still meet and discuss trade marks and wider intellectual property issues, despite the cancellation of the annual INTA event as a result of the global lockdown.
