BPE acts for Partners& on U.S. investment and series of acquisitions
Cheltenham-based law firm BPE Solicitors has acted for insurance advisory business Partners& on a significant initial investment from U.S. private equity firm Capital Z Partners and the subsequent acquisition of four insurance advisory businesses for an undisclosed sum.
Partners& successfully launched its brand earlier this month, to much acclaim, and has shot into the Top 100 UK Brokers with £65m gross written premium.
Its major investor, Capital Z Partners, has an impressive long-term track record investing in the financial services industry and takes pride in partnering with high quality management teams such as Partners&. Teaming up with Capital Z Partners has enabled Partners& to achieve its goal of creating a unified group of specialist advisory partners. The deal will also continue to facilitate their ambition to become an industry-leading insurance advisory business.
Led by Partners Adam Kean and John Workman and supported by Philippa Kean and Kathryn King, BPE’s Corporate Team was assisted by the firm’s Employment and Property Teams, overseeing both the investment and subsequent acquisitions.
