BPE acts for APC Technology Group Plc in £18 million takeover by Specialist Components Limited
BPE Solicitors’ Corporate team has once again acted for long term client and AIM-listed company, APC Technology Group Plc on their recent takeover by Specialist Components Limited for £18.26million.
APC Technology has been providing and distributing specialist electronic components and systems, lighting technologies and connectivity products to a wide range of sectors since 1982. Specialist Components Limited is a private limited company set up by Harwood Capital LLP with the specific purpose of acquiring and making the offer for APC Technology, on behalf of investors.
The investment and support of Specialist Components will enable the growth of APC Technology, enhancing the company’s services to its existing customers and helping acquire new customers through innovative productive offerings.
Led by Corporate Partners Anthony Rudge and Louise Grzasko, with the assistance of Kathryn King, the BPE team advised APC Technology on the takeover throughout the transaction. The team worked alongside APC Technology’s financial adviser, Shore Capital, ensuring all the legalities were in place.
