BPE Solicitors’ Corporate Team Acts for Critical Environmental Solutions in recent Company Sale

A team of corporate lawyers from Gloucestershire based BPE Solicitors has advised specialist cleaning suppliers, Critical Environmental Solutions Ltd (CES), on its recent sale to Micronclean Ltd, a UK company specialising in the supply and laundering of work wear.

Established in 1883, Micronclean is one of the country’s largest laundry businesses, employing more than 300 people across three processing sites and dedicated regional delivery hubs. The company supplies a diverse range of sectors, including the food processing and manufacturing industries, along with a range of proprietary cleanroom supplies.

Led by BPE Partner Tim Ward, the deal saw Swindon based CES sell 100% of its share capital to Micronclean for an undisclosed amount on 30 June 2016.

Andy Holbrook, Managing Director of CES, said: “I am delighted by the long term stability that the acquisition brings to CES. We are committed to continuing to build the business and to support the high level of service that has always been enjoyed by our customers.”

CES specialise in the distribution of consumable products into cleanrooms and specialist manufacturing environments. The company currently supplies many different industry sectors including pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical device manufacturers, caterers and specialised precision engineers.

“Tim Ward and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the completion target was met. I found their advice was communicated promptly and in a language that myself and my co-shareholders could easily understand,” Andy added. “The transaction was the smoothest and quickest we have experienced and this is a testament to Tim and his team. We would have no hesitation of employing BPE again and would fully recommend them to any future client.”

Tim and his team at BPE pride themselves on their sound legal advice and support of businesses throughout their development. Acting as more than just lawyers; they are trusted business advisers for their clients, and seek to help structure businesses to achieve sustained growth. From starting a new business to development through growth, joint ventures, buying, selling, or floating on the stock market, BPE’s corporate team has the breadth and depth of experience to support a business through every stage of its lifecycle.
