BPE raise over £2000 for LINC

The Private Client team at Gloucestershire based BPE Solicitors has recently raised £2172 for LINC (The Leukaemia & Intensive Chemotherapy Fund) as part of Make a Will Fortnight. Throughout two weeks the law firm offered to draw up wills free of charge in return for a donation to the charity.

Dr Gill Rouse, Director of LINC said: “We are delighted with the impressive amount raised through The Make a Will Fortnight with BPE Solicitors. The money will go towards providing much needed equipment and funding a full time clinical psychologist”. 

The firm plans to repeat the gesture for a fortnight again in October this year. Peter Tyrrell, an Associate in the Private Client team at BPE said: “We are very proud of the amount raised through the scheme in 2013, and we are hoping to raise even more for LINC this year by encouraging people to draw up their Wills and make a donation”.

LINC is an important local healthcare charity that works to improve the care of cancer patients in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and South Worcestershire. They provide financial and psychological support for people receiving intensive chemotherapy in the Three Counties Cancer Centre in Cheltenham, as well as their families and loved ones.
