Acting for Main Contractors
This applies equally to contract negotiations at the outset, and resolving disputes along the way. Whilst allegations of defects are usually referred to your insurer, we specialise in advising contractors in respect of delay claims and final account disputes.
In particular, we can:
- Review building contracts and collateral warranties that you intend to enter (including JCT, NEC3, NEC4 and bespoke documents), reporting on the changes we recommend you seek
- Negotiate directly on your behalf or provide you with the information and knowledge to conduct negotiations yourself
- Prepare standard terms and conditions for your business
- Prepare standard sub-contract terms and conditions for your business, ensuring that obligations contained in your main contracts will be flowed down
- Advise in respect of potential disputes at any time during the project or after practical completion
